3 propylene storage bullet tanks from Thessaloniki Port to Corinth
One of our biggest projects yet. Cosmatos Group is proud to announce the successful delivery of 3 propylene storage bullet tanks, each up to an impressive 650 tons, loaded from Thessaloniki Port and safely discarged at Soussaki Port, Greece.
Each tank had dimensions of L x W x H 67.50 x 7.60 x 10.70m. They were loaded onto ship with 2 x 900 mt SWL craned by lifting in tandem with the use of two beams.
Two trailers were used for the transport. Each trailer was equipped with a turntable for pivoting and had a width of 4.90m and length of 24.00m. Each platform had 16 axles and each axle 3 sets of 4 tyres.
Very big and very heavy, a profound heavylift operation that we are proud to have been involved with.
